Are Emotional Blocks stopping your Success? – Activate the power of your Unconscious mind

The only blocks to success and to achieving anything we wish to achieve will always tend to be Emotional blocks. This means that although you may consciously be fully committed to a particular objective, you often find that another part of you is seemingly in the way and wants to sabotage this objective, because this part is not Emotionally aligned with your goal, or has a different agenda.

The way we can recognise Emotional blocks is that they commonly surface as negative or obsessive thinking and can move us in to a victim or poverty mentality, no matter how much we affirm our willingness to accept abundance and wealth, or for that matter health and wholeness in any area of our lives.

Once you recognise the pattern, changing the pattern and clearing an Emotional block is a simple matter of establishing a new habit.  A new pattern can be achieved in a few steps as below:

Recognise the internal conflict, and or the pattern of negative thinking.  Allow yourself to get in touch with and to feel the emotion of whatever the thought pattern is trying to block out, rather than to follow the story line of the thought. Whenever you fall in to this pattern of thinking, recognise you need to get in touch with an underlying feeling or emotion and allow yourself to feel that emotion no matter how uncomfortable it may be, till the energy behind the thought is neutralised.  Depending on the severity of the block (we spend our lifetimes feeding our habitual patterns), this process will require repitition and emotional impact for the unconscious mind to come clear of old habitual ways of thinking.

When you are Clear, Set an Intention for what you want to achieve, and instruct the unconscious mind to move you towards this goal.

Act on your goal, follow your inspiration, do what you can do today. Know that your vision, and consistent action will  reach you to your goal

Practice Gratefulness, so you are acting with Purpose and Faith

By acting with gratefulness you are Allowing your Vision to come closer toward you and to become your reality.

Enjoy acting out of gratitude for the Abundance that is waiting and willing to come toward you!

Johneal,

You’re so right! We have imposed so many senseless blocks on ourselves that it sometimes amazes me that we’re able to accomplish anything!

You are a true master of the mind, and I appreciate your post. Once we clear the blocks that are holding us back anything is possible…

Thank you,
Kathy Jodrey

Hey Kathy thanks so much for your comment,

About mastery of the mind, luckily i know that i can also be a complete dunce sometimes, so will not let the complement go to my head. You’re absolutely right, the fears and emotional blocks we experience are almost always self imposed. And making the shift inside ourselves is what will allow us to make the shift in our external world.
Also believe that we are today at a tipping point and moving back to freeing ourselves both individually and collectively, from some of these fears and blocks that seemed to have been holding us back for such a long while. And now choosing to live in the less effortful and more intuitive world that’s always available, where we can and are more naturally expressing what we are truly capable of.

thanks for all the great work you are doing,
Johneal

Wonderful article Johneal!

Even though we know these things we still do them to ourselves. Thanks for pointing it out as it is always a great reminder.

Great post Johneal. The power of the subconscious mind to overcome the negative energy from faulty thinking is amazing. With focus and a willingness to confront those things that try and block us from achieving success, we can achieve clarity and focus. Appreciate you giving attention to this critical component of success.

Johneal, The practice of gratitude makes a huge impact on the way your day begins. I try going over my gratitude list before I get out of bed in the morning and when the doubts and fears arise, I head back to that list. Thanks for reinforcing the importance of this step in moving forward.

Very insightful Johneal. The mind really does reflect our every action, so it’s a good idea to have some control over it.

Cheers, Lynn

And these blocks can take us so long to get over and through. We create our own reality, not matter what we believe. What we think about we bring about, and boy did I sound like my mom here.

Think only thoughts that are going to take you where you want to go, and nothing else. This will get you over the mental blocks.

So true that working through our blocks is a life time process and needs constant attention. Sounds like you got great advice from your mum, about being mindful about our thoughts which are the biggest creative influence in our lives.
Thanks for commenting, is great to hear from you.

We really do have to spend some time on becoming aware of what our blocks really are so we can obtain our full potential!

I’ve found that I can think through a problem more clearly when I set aside any emotion that may rear it’s ugly head. Others have commented that it’s a calm they see in me when crisis all around seems to be happening. Thanks for the post.

Hi Johneal!

Thanks so much for this insightful post. We do have to feel our feelings in order to release them. It’s not a pretty prospect for most of us, which is why we avoid it so intently. I appreciate that you address these important topics.

Johneal,

We do not realize the emotional blocks that we impose on ourselves and sometimes we blame it on others. This is great information to start to release those blocks to have a more success life.
